HIMM has been partnering with medical professionals who have a conviction/desire to serve through medical missions for over ten years. In early 2010 HIMM was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization to provide access into Haiti during the islands devastating earthquake. Since that time, HIMM and its partners have continued to serve as a conduit for medical professionals to serve internationally in communities that are in need of surgical intervention.
Medical mission partnerships allow for HIMM to serve in these locations with surgical teams multiple times each year. Currently HIMM has surgical mission partnerships in Ouanaminthe, Haiti - Quiche, Guatemala - Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan - Bajos De Haina, Dominican Republic - La Guajira, Columbia - Guatamala, Panama.
