In November of 2011 a member of the H.I.M.M. team was introduced to serving medically in Managua Nicaragua by Dr. Ricardo Estrada and his family. Shortly thereafter, through a partnership with Guillermo Latino we were introduced to Dra. Mirtila Padilla and her evangelical medical ministry for families in Nicaragua. In July 2012, a H.I.M.M. vision team was blessed in establishing a medical partnership with Dr. Juan Carlos Gutierrez V. and the Hospital Camilo Ortega Saavedra in Juigalpa.
The Lord is using Nicaragua, Juigalpa and the beautiful citizens to bless H.I.M.M. in so many ways. Nicaragua confirmed the vision of the founder, that to partner medically we must truly seek to understand the gifts, desires, and needs of a community. This understanding allows for all servants to come along side each other, and truly meet the medical and spiritual needs of the community. As a result, a long term transparent partnership has been established.
